Claiming That Utility Damaged Property

A Putnam County country club is suing a major utility company alleging that its property was damaged.

Scarlet Oaks, near Poca, is suing Appalachian Electric Power.

According to the lawsuit, on or about April 30th, 2014, AEP workers  caused harm to Scarlet Oaks’ property between the 16th and 17th hole’s green and tee box and the driving range and failed to make proper repairs.
Scarlet Oaks seeks compensatory damages.
