PipeSounds To Host Laube Concert

Wrapping Up The 2016-2017 Seas0n

Nathan Laube

Once again, PipeSounds will be hosting Nathan Laube, a star among young classical musicians, for a classical concert on the world-class Harrah Symphonic Organ on Sunday, March 26th, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Forrest Burdette Memorial United Methodist Church in Hurricane.

Laube has earned a place among the organ world’s elite performers.  He serves as Assistant Professor of Organ at The Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York.  As a church musician, Nathan served from 2011-2013 as Artist-in-Residence at the American Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in Paris, France.

Recent and upcoming performances by Laube include major venues spanning four continents.

With a pedal technique that can delineate counterpoint with exquisite clarity and grace, and an ear for balanced sonorities,  Nathan is already a major performing  artist on the organ.

This event will be Laube’s second performance in Hurricane.

Admission is $10.00 for adults, students and children free.

This concert will conclude the 2016-2017 season of community events sponsored by the Putnam County Bank and PipeSounds Patrons.

Forrest Burdette is located at 2848 Putnam Avenue and directions are available on the web, www.forrestburdette.com.
