Pet Tales: Cornbread

Matching Shelter Pets With Loving Homes

“Until one has loved an animal, a part of one’s soul remains unawakened.” Anatole France

Every day, there are dozens of wonderful animals, at the Putnam County Animal Shelter, who are looking for a safe, loving, “Forever Home,” in West “Fur” ginia! wants to help match those animals with new owners. Each week, we are featuring a “Pet of the Week” that is evaluated, for adoption, by the shelter experts.

To make things even better, Chief Humane Officer Jon Davis is waiving the adoption fee. This means, all you have to do, is pick our Pet of the Week and take it home. This is PAWSOME!!!

This is Cornbread Id# 24449. Cornbread is a secen-year-old neutered male Border Collie mix who came to the shelter when his owner could no longer care for him. He is a very sweet dog who enjoys attention and is looking for a good home. His adoption fee is sponsored so, please, come take him home today!

If you want to give Cornbread a “Furever home,” Davis wants to hear from you. Please telephone 304-586-0249.
