Pet Tales: Oreo

Matching Shelter Pets With Loving Homes

“Until one has loved an animal, a part of one’s soul remains unawakened.” Anatole France

Every day, there are dozens of wonderful animals, at the Putnam County Animal Shelter, who are looking for a safe, loving, “Forever Home,” in West “Fur” ginia! wants to help match those animals with new owners. Each week, we are featuring a “Pet of the Week” that is evaluated, for adoption, by the shelter experts.

To make things even better, Chief Humane Officer Jon Davis is waiving the adoption fee. This means, all you have to do, is pick our Pet of the Week and take it home. This is PAWSOME!!!

This is Oreo Id# 25754. Oreo is a four-year-old, female, domestic medium-haired cat who came to the shelter when she was surrendered by her owner. Her adoption fee is sponsored so only a refundable $50 sterilization deposit would need to be left to take her home today! Come meet her!

If you want to give Oreoy a “Furever home,” Davis wants to hear from you. Please telephone 304-586-0249.
