The Putnam County Sheriff’s Departmentalt is reporting two arrests – plus the investigation of an Assault and a Disturbance complaint.

It was a mixed day of crime and public service for our law enforcement heroes.

07/11/17 Activity:

  • ARREST: Deputy C.C. Temple arrested Michelle Lee Craig, from 2465 Manilla Ridge Road, Leon, on a Federal Warrant for Probation Violation.

  • ARREST: Special Enforcement Unit (SEU) and Sergeant D.W. Miller arrested Cody Allen Villalobos, from Nitro, for Strangulation, Domestic Battery, Obstructing an Officer (2) counts and Cultivation of Marijuana.

  • Disturbance, 30 Block Edgewood Drive, Black Betsy. Suspect listed at time of report, pending investigation.
  • Suspicious Person, 200 Block River Street, Poca. Suspect departed prior to Law Enforcement arrival.
  • Assault, 5 Block Little John Drive, Scott Depot. Suspect listed at time of report, pending investigation.
  • Larceny, 9000 Block Teays Valley Road, Scott Depot. No suspect listed at time of report, pending investigation.
  • Hit & Run, 4000 Block 1st Avenue, Nitro. Suspect listed at time of report, pending investigation.
  • Harassing Phone Calls, 2000 Block Mt. Vernon Road, Hurricane. Suspect listed at time of report, pending investigation.
  • Two alarm calls responded.
  • One Domestic call in progress. Suspect listed at time of report, pending investigation.
  • One Domestic Violence Petitions served.
  • Two motor vehicle crashes: 120 Block Circle Way-Winfield, I-64 West Bound 44 MM.
