The Putnam County Sheriff’s Departmentalt is reporting six arrests. In addition, a Battery and a string of Larcenies are under investigation.

So much for a nice, relaxing, crime-free weekend.

Weekend Activity:

  • ARREST: Corporal H.D. Harrison arrested John McGlone Jr., from 3461 Charleston Road, Poca, for Obstructing, Disorderly Conduct, Public Intoxication and Failure to Fingerprint.

  • ARREST: Corporal H.D. Harrison arrested Elizabeth Moss, from 5122 US Route 60, Hurricane, on a warrant from the Logan County Sheriff’s Office for Trespassing and  Possession of Marijuana.

  • ARREST: Deputy M.J. Adkins arrested Daniel Skeens, from 240 Randolph Hollow, Poca, for Domestic Battery.

  • ARREST: Deputy M.H. Lovejoy arrested Kristin Norris, from 405 Eden Lane, Pliny on a Putnam County Sheriff’s Office warrant for Worthless Checks.

  • ARREST: Deputy K.A. Davis arrested John Gibson, from Poca, for Public Intoxication and Disorderly Conduct.
  • Disturbance, 5000 Block 5 & 20 Mile Creek Road, Fraziers Bottom, suspect listed at time of report, pending investigation.
  • Suspicious Person, 400 Block Jacobson Drive, Rock Branch, suspect departed prior to Law Enforcement arrival.
  • Battery, 3000 Block Charleston Road, Poca, suspect listed at time of report, pending investigation.
  • Larceny, 300 Block Winfield Road, Winfield, no suspect listed at time of report, pending investigation.
  • Larceny, 140 Block Sugar Camp Road, Hurricane, no suspect listed at time of report, pending investigation.
  • Destruction of Property, 10 Block Hometown Apartments, no suspect listed at time of report, pending investigation.
  • Larceny, 900 Block State Route 34, Hurricane, suspect listed at time of report, pending investigation.
  • Larceny, RR Block 200, Poca, suspect listed at time of report, pending investigation.
  • Harassing Phone Calls, 1 Block Putnam Village Drive, Hurricane, suspect listed at time of report, pending investigation.
  • Disorderly Conduct, 1 Block Putnam Village Drive, Hurricane, suspect arrested on scene.
  • Ten alarm calls responded.
  • Seven Domestic calls in progress. Suspect listed at time of report, pending investigation.
  • Eleven motor vehicle crashes: State Route 34 with entrapment, Hurricane Creek Road, 4000 Block State Route 34, State Route 817, 20000 Block US Route 35, Manilla Creek Road with injury, State Route 62, Sulug Road-Leon, Scott Depot Road with injury, 120 Block Great Teays Boulevard, Sams Fork Road.
  • Three Domestic Violence Petitions served.
