The Putnam County Sheriff’s Department is reporting two male arrests, – plus the investigation of another Forgery, a Destruction of Property, a Disturbance complaint and three Domestic Calls in Progress.

It was a busy weekend of crime and public service for our law enforcement heroes.

  • ARREST: Deputy R.B. Childers arrested Lawrence C. Blomquist, from 446 Bowles Dodson Road, Red House, on a Capias for Failure to Pay Child Support.

  • ARREST: Corporal G.S. Scragg arrested Brandon H. Bergum, from Route 2 Box 2998 Charleston, for Domestic Battery and Petit Larceny.
  • Disturbance, 1203 Block Paradise Lane, Red House. Suspect listed at time of report, pending investigation.
  • Suspicious Person, 21300 Block State Route 62, Hometown. Suspect departed prior to Law Enforcement arrival.
  • Destruction of Property, 500 Block State Route 34, Hurricane. No suspect listed at time of report, pending investigation.
  • Larceny, 300 Block Country Roads MHP, Poca. No suspect listed at time of report, pending investigation.
  • Forgery, 400 Block Rocky Step Road, Scott Depot. Suspect listed at time of report, pending investigation.
  • B&E (Auto), 20 Block Thor Way, Hurricane. Suspect listed at time of report, pending investigation.
  • Shoplifting, 300 Block Great Teays Boulevard, Scott Depot. Suspect listed at time of report, pending investigation.
  • Sixteen alarm calls responded.
  • Three Domestic calls in progress. Suspect listed at time of report, pending investigation.
  • Five motor vehicle crashes: Poca River Road North, Interstate 64 West-Bound/40 MM, McClane Pike, Route 817, I-64 West Bound 36 MM.
  • One Domestic Violence Petition served.
