The Putnam County Sheriff’s altDepartment is reporting one male arrest, more Larcenies and four Domestic Calls in Progress.

It was a busy weekend for the heroic men and women that protect and serve us every day.

  • ARREST: Deputy R.S. Johnson arrested Jonathan W. Logue, from 103 Darby Drive, Hurricane, on Putnam County Capias for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Kanawha County Capias for Receiving and Transferring Stolen Property.
  • Destruction of Property, 10 Block Brantley Drive, Winfield. No suspect listed at time of report, pending investigation.
  • Grand Larceny (Auto), 3000 Block Heizer Creek, Poca. No suspect listed at time of report, pending investigation.
  • Larceny, 130 Block Beechwood Estates, Scott Depot, no suspect listed at time of report, pending investigation.
  • Destruction of Property, 20001 Block Winfield Road, Winfield, suspect listed at time of report, pending investigation.
  • Larceny, 80 Block Putnam Terrace, Hurricane, suspect listed at time of report, pending investigation.
  • Hit & Run, 3675 Poca River Road, Poca, no suspect listed at time of report, pending investigation.
  • Ten alarm calls responded.
  • Four Domestic calls in progress. Suspect listed at time of report, pending investigation.
  • Three Domestic Violence Petitions served.
  • Eight motor vehicle crashes: 4000 Block US Route 60, Interstate-64 East Bound 40 MM with injury, Heizer Creek, Great Teays Boulevard, Plantation Road, 800 Block Hurricane Creek Road, I-64 East Bound 39 MM, Route 34-Beacon Hills.
