A Michigan woman is asking for your help to find information about one of her family’s ancestors.
“My great grandfather, Alexander Hamilton Blake, died May 10th, 1849 31 years old while living in Eleanor,” says Joyce Blake Johnson. “His mother, Jane, died on May 6th, 1849. His wife, also Jane, died in 1849 at 31. His brother Lewis Blake died in 1848.”
Johnson has an interesting question: “Was there a family curse, a plague?”
She is turning to PutnamCountyNews.com for help. “I don’t know if any of your readers would have answers or you could steer me in the right direction. Don’t wait too long, I’m 80. Obviously I’ve inherited some good genes along the trail of the Blake family.”
You can telephone Joyce Blake Johnson at 616-241-0485 or email her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
